Giacomo Castagnini
For over twenty years, I have dedicated myself to the field of forensic sciences, with a particular specialization in the digital sector, providing consultancy for various Prosecutor’s Offices in Tuscany. In parallel, my interest extends to the field of art criticism and history, where I hold the conviction that “all art is contemporary.”
My academic research is focused on decoding the underlying meanings of works of art, with the goal of establishing connections between the past and the present, thus offering new interpretative keys.
Kilometers on crime scenes, in search of the truth.
Days at the Academy of Fine Arts.
Exhibitions visited to stay constantly updated.
Cups of coffee per year - no sugar!
My Skills
I explore contemporary art trends and seek new interpretative elements in works from the past, utilizing modern information sciences and new cultural sensibilities. I write about these topics for my blog, as well as for digital and print magazines, contributing original perspectives and innovative insights.
